Well according to quantum theory there are infinite possibilities. Now depending on what people are looking for, or exactly focusing on, good properties or bad properties, they will find anyone of the infinite possibilities to suit their reality.
What this boils down to is that each and everyone of us are co-creators of reality. This also makes it possible to attract those things into our lives that we think are important to have.
